How Salt Damages Florida Windows

A close up image of crystalized sodium chloride (salt).

Studies show that Florida has the highest salt penetration of any state in the US, with salt air traveling up to 100 MILES inland due to its high winds.

When salt crystals are allowed to build up, they eat away at the glass, causing leakage and deterioration of windows over time.

This is a particularly acute issue for our areas of service, covering Jupiter to Miami, extending from the coast to the everglades

The span from the beach to the Everglades is a mere 15 miles, which is well within the reach of salt penetration, making all homes and buildings within this area affected by salt’s damaging effects

Regular cleaning of windows helps protect them from salt corrosion.
